I have pursued a freelance career specialising in creative and expressive calligraphy for 35 years, working mainly with design consultants and marketing agencies. For much of this time I have also taught a wide variety of calligraphic and design disciplines in art schools, at conferences and workshops both in the UK and internationally. For the past 25 years I have specialised in copperplate calligraphy, designed a variations style, and written two instructional manuals. I am a Founder Member and past Chairman of Letter Exchange, and an Honoured Fellow of the Calligraphy & Lettering Arts Society.
