After a full and formal training at the Scriptorium de Toulouse (France), I continued my education with Thomas Ingmire (USA) and Arne Wolf (USA), focusing more on expressive calligraphy and painting. Teaching and designing made me travel quite a bit. This international adventure has been a big influence on me as a person and as a designer. It also helped me to shape the long term educational lettering programme now offered by LC COURSES (lievecornil.com). The programme combines lettering education and creative entrepreneurship. It is a true privilege to pass on lettering skills to a future generation of lettering professionals.
