Later on I took up lettering through a classical ‘Trajanist’ approach (I believed that would mark my work with timelessness) but then I caught a love for lettering that is not schooled in a classical way, and got balancing between the polarities of conscious ‘classical’ work and the urge to experiment beyond what I already master; the one side keeping its counterpart vivid. Tediousness has never been my fate.
