Gary Breeze

Gary was trained by David Holgate and set up his own workshop in 1993. He has completed numerous public and private commissions, notably the Bali Bombing Memorial, London, and Christ Church Cloister fountain, Oxford.

In 2002 Gary was joined by Stuart Buckle who has been an invaluable element of the workshop ever since. In 2008 he won the prestigious Leverhulme Trust award for a twelve month artist residency at the University of Southampton’s department of Archaeology. The same year he won both the Jerwood Contemporary Makers prize and a RIBA award.

Other work can be seen at the Glasgow High Court, the New Scottish Parliament, Westminster Abbey, Eton Rowing Lake, the Victoria & Albert Museum and Chatsworth.
