For over 33 years at Why Not Associates Andy worked on projects ranging from exhibition design to postage stamps via advertising, publishing, television titles, commercials, corporate identity and large scale public art. All of his work is bound by a fundamental love of typography, research and experimentation. Andy was lucky enough to give numerous lectures about many of the projects he had been involved in all around the world – from Siberia to Japan via Manchester! In 2020 Why Not Associates closed allowing Andy to work on more personal projects.
His first solo project was to design and write ‘tat*’ – a book that documents his collection and love of graphic ephemera, full details here.
